Nominate Outstanding Leaders for Vision 2020

Vision 2020:  An American Conversation about Women and Leadership is a project to celebrate the 2020 Centennial of the Suffrage Amendment.  National Delegates will be selected from a diverse pool of women leaders  to help create an agenda for action to promote gender equality.

Vision 2020 kicks off with the selection of 102 National Delegates—two each from every state and the District of Columbia.  Deadline for nominations is January 29. Vision 2020 is seeking 102 women leaders to serve a three-year term as a Vision 2020 National Delegate.  The National Delegates will be chosen through a competitive process that began October 22, 2009. Two delegates from each of the 50 states and the District of Columbia will be selected.

The National Delegates will attend the October 21-22, 2010 American Conversation on Women and Leadership at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, PA.  The task of the National Delegates is to participate in each of the seven American Conversations and as a group create an Agenda for Action—measurable goals that will be worked upon in the decade from the close of the American Conversation until 2020.

Each Vision 2020 National Delegate is a woman nominated by an organization or three individuals and meets the following criteria:

  • Has a demonstrated commitment to helping women and/or girls.
