  • United States and Alvera v. C.B.M. Group, Inc. - Determined whether applying a housing complex's "zero tolerance for violence" policy by threatening a person with eviction for having been the victim of domestic violence unlawfully discriminates on the basis of sex. June 2001

  • Valdez v. Truss Components - Determined the right to sue under Title VII for wrongful discharge when a woman is dismissed from employment because her batterer works in the same establishment and has threatened with violence if she is not fired. August 1999

  • Wade v. Wade - Challenged the distinction between minor, or “de minimus,” and “classic” incidents of domestic violence. June 2000

  • Wittendorf v. Worthington - The brief argues that lower court committed legal error by failing to adequately consider the effects of domestic violence on the child victim when granting unsupervised visitation to Defendant-Appellee.

  • Ziegler v. Ziegler - Addressed the constitutionality of the Violence Against Women Act civil rights remedy. The claim was later dismissed by the Supreme Court's decision in U.S. v. Morrison November 1998
