New challenges call for new ways of communicating: to spread the word, to rally like-minded supporters, to dialogue with adversaries and to motivate the disinterested. Legal Momentum has rarely known more challenging times. In response, we are pleased to introduce you to our newly redesigned, www.legalmomentum.org web site. Please visit us often.

When you do, you will find the site more accessible and user-friendly. We've introduced updated graphics, added new links to help you to better understand how we are carrying out our mission and to access the wealth of information we've archived over 36 years of working on behalf of women and girls, and incorporated easy navigational tools that make getting there half the fun. We have also made sure to develop a website that is friendly to the handicapped by adhering to W3C recommendations for handicap accessibility. Our relaunched site is able to:

  • Send updates on our activities and issues when you want them to your Blackberry or feed reader with our RSS feeds.
  • Provide an easy, on-line way to subscribe to our newsletter, In Brief.
  • Keep pace with timely information and calls to action through Legal Momentum's Action Alerts and Message Campaigns.
  • Shorten the load times for generating and regenerating pages.
  • Help you inquire about legal help and advice.

Advancing Women's Rights into the 21st Century requires new tools and new ways of thinking; we intend to keep pace with the times and the technology. In the coming months, for example, we plan to provide greater interactivity by incorporating maps addressing state laws, and photo galleries that showcase our staff and events.
