Gender Equity and Gender Bias

Legal Momentum has expertise and resources across a wide range of areas related to discrimination, gender equity, and gender bias. Ranging from sexual and reproductive rights and teen dating violence to gender bias in the courts, Legal Momentum continues to champion the rights of women and girls and to work to eradicate harmful stereotypes and policies shaped by bias while promoting policies and practices that reflect the realities of women’s lives, and advancing their rights under the law.

Gender Bias in the Courts:

Legal Momentum's National Judicial Education Program works to promote gender fairness in the courts so that all women can have access to a sensitive, informed, and impartial judicial system.

Gender Bias and Immigration Policy:

Legal Momentum's Immigrant Women Program believes that immigration reforms will be most effective when they are grounded in an understanding of the issues facing immigrant women in America.

International Human Rights for Women at Home

Legal Momentum works to incorporate principles of international human rights law into United States law to strengthen the human rights of all women.
