A new report from Legal Momentum finds that the number of families receiving Food Stamps in 2010 increased over 15 percent, but the number receiving TANF increased less than one percent. The tiny increase in TANF receipt in 2010 was far below the increase in family need that year, unemployment and Food Stamp data suggests.
