REPORT - Still a Man’s Labor Market for Both Older and Younger Workers

REPORT - Still a Man’s Labor Market for Both Older and Younger Workers

Date:
June 26, 2013

This report compares employment, earnings, income, and poverty data for younger (22 to 35) and older (36 to 64) working age men and women.
In both age groups, paid work is more common for men than for women -- men are more likely to work full-time all-year, more likely to be employed for
at least part of the year, more likely to be employed at a given point in time, and more likely if employed to work full-time.
