  • New York, NY, February 28, 2018—Carol Robles-Román will become Co-President and CEO of the ERA Coalition and the Fund for Women's Equality. She will take up the position in March of this year. Carol has led Legal Momentum as its President and CEO. During Carol’s tenure, Legal Momentum has worked as a Lead Organization with the ERA Coalition on advocacy for an equal rights amendment to the United States Constitution, and she co-chaired its Legal Task Force.
  • The American Bar Association’s Commission on Domestic & Sexual Violence is honoring Legal Momentum’s President and CEO Carol Robles-Román with the 2017 Sharon L. Corbitt Award. The annual award recognizes a lawyer who demonstrates exemplary service to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and/or stalking, in the spirit of Sharon L. Corbitt.
  • Legal Momentum announces that Elizabeth Grayer has decided to step down as President in order to pursue another opportunity.  Her term ended on December 31, 2013, but Elizabeth has graciously agreed to act as a consultant to Legal Momentum until a new President is identified. The board has asked Lynn Hecht Schafran, Senior Vice President and Director of Legal Momentum's National Judicial Education Program, to assume the role of Acting President.
