Prohibitions against Pregnancy Discrimination

An employer cannot discriminate against any person otherwise qualified because of pregnancy.

*Applies to employers of two or more employees; exempts religious organizations.

Pregnancy Accommodation

Wyoming does not provide additional protections to the federal law.

Pregnancy-related Disability Accommodation

Wyoming does not specifically accommodate pregnancy or its attendant medical conditions as a disability.

Breastfeeding Rights

The act of breastfeeding an infant child, including breastfeeding in any place where the woman may legally be, does not constitute public indecency. It is unclear whether this authorization extends to a woman’s place of employment.
