Domestic workers carry out essential work that powers our economy, yet they are often underpaid, and they face a variety of workplace violations.

To help domestic workers prevent and address workplace violations and exploitation, this guide, developed and designed in collaboration with domestic workers, provides guidance on essential workplace rights, including specific laws covering domestic workers, and also provides strategies domestic workers can use to prevent and address workplace violations, advocate for fair pay, and seek assistance.

This resource is for informational purposes only and is not intended to provide legal advice.
