Legal Momentum was co-counsel in this case with Professor Eric Schnapper.
The Supreme Court rules that an employer is liable for sexual harassment by a supervisor unless it takes "reasonable care" to prevent and stop harassment and offers employees a viable complaint mechanism. This case is important to the continuing effort to free women from sexual harassment at work because it gives employers a strong incentive to adopt meaningful policies against sexual harassment.
