Legal Momentum, the Advocates for Human Rights, the Human Rights Clinic of the University of Miami School of Law, and Women Enabled, Inc. (“U.S. Women’s Rights Organizations”) produced a shadow report about violence against women in the United States and U.S. compliance with the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR), which was submitted for the 109th Session of the United Nations Human Rights Committee. The report called for the Committee to recommend significant improvements to U.S. law and policy.
