- On November 1, the New York City Salary Transparency Law officially went into effect
- Now that the law is in effect, we are also tracking compliance! If you are job hunting in NYC and see a job posting that does not list a good faith salary range, or does not include a range at all, we want to hear from you.
- On November 22, it was announced that LM's Seher Khawaja was appointed as a new commissioner to the New York City Commission on Gender Equity (CGE).
- And on November 30th, we recognized Native Women’s Equal Pay Day, the day into 2022 that Native women need to work in order to earn the same amount that white, non-Hispanic men made in 2021.

- In November we launched the seventh year of our Rights Now! Peer Educator Program

- Throughout October, Legal Momentum recognized Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM).
- On October 5th, LM published our latest resource "Dressed and Ready to Learn" to help students, parents, and educators identify, challenge, and change dress codes that are rooted in and perpetuate biases and stereotypes about gender and race.
- On October 6th, LM Senior Vice President and Director of the National Judicial Education Program (NJEP), Lynn Hecht Schafran, published a letter thanking Constance Wu for publicly sharing her story and helping to break down erroneous stereotypes about what rape is and how victims should respond.

- We celebrated our 22nd Annual Aiming High Awards Luncheon on October 19.
- Legal Momentum was delighted to honor Former U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch of Paul Weiss, Kathy Ruemmler of Goldman Sachs, and Debra Perelman of Revlon.
- Also, the current Treasurer of the Legal Momentum Board of Directors, Susan B. Lindenauer, received the Lifetime Champion Award presented to her by Legal Momentum President and CEO, Carol Moody.

- It requires all employers with four or more employees to post a good faith salary range in advertisements for new jobs, transfers or promotion opportunities for any position that can be carried out in New York City.
- By mandating pay disclosure in job postings, this new law works to dismantle our prevailing culture of pay secrecy, which for too long has allowed gender and racial pay disparities to persist behind closed doors.
