A Celebration of the Power of Women

On October 19, Cipriani Wall Street was adorned in Legal Momentum’s signature red for the 22nd Annual Aiming High Awards Luncheon. It was the first time the luncheon was held in-person since 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The atmosphere was great, and spirits were high. The luncheon was a huge success thanks to our wonderful honorees, sponsors, Legal Momentum leadership and staff, and all involved.

Legal Momentum was delighted to honor Former U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch of Paul Weiss, Kathy Ruemmler of Goldman Sachs, and Debra Perelman of Revlon. Also, the current Treasurer of the Legal Momentum Board of Directors, Susan B. Lindenauer, received the Lifetime Champion Award presented to her by Legal Momentum President and CEO, Carol Moody. Each honoree shared their own inspirational and heart-felt remarks that truly resonated with the audience. Legal Momentum feels fortunate to have honored these admirable women who share its mission of gender equality and helped to raise funds that will help enhance Legal Momentum’s programs that protect the economic and physical security of women and girls.

Unfortunately, Debra Perelman was unable to attend the event due to illness.  However, although not present, Debra was brought to life by her colleagues, Alexandra Gerber and Alison Hinds-Pearl, and Debra made sure that every guest was gifted with Revlon’s Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant.

Additionally, the audience was graced, once again, with Scarlet Fu, Anchor/Reporter for Bloomberg Quicktake, as the emcee of the event.

Thanks to the support of our honorees, past honorees, sponsors, guests, etc., Legal Momentum can strengthen gender equality under the law and in society!

We look forward to seeing you at the 23rd Annual Aiming High Awards Luncheon in 2023!
