On April 14th, the 17th Annual Women of Achievement Awards Dinner was held at the InterContinental San Francisco. It was a great evening and a huge success! For the last seventeen years the Women of Achievement Awards Dinner has celebrated Bay Area women and men of distinction in business, law, and public service.

Legal Momentum was delighted to honor Dr. Amy Abernethy, Connie Brenton, Shelly Kapoor Collins, Dr. June Lee, Manita Rawat, and Man of Distinction, Brian E. Cabrera. Throughout the evening, the honorees shared inspirational stories that left a mark on all in attendance. We felt lucky to honor these admirable women and man who support our mission and helped us reach our goal with their charitable donations which will help us continue safeguarding the rights of women and girls.

Additionally, we were grateful to have our youth take the stage. Alicia Briana Cabrera presented the award to her dad, Brian E. Cabrera, and Sohana Collins and Shaan Collins presented the award to their mother, Shelly Kapoor Collins. They are our future!

Caren Ulrich Stacy, 2017 Women of Achievement honoree, was the fantastic emcee for the evening, and a generous sponsor of the event.
