Director of Development, Events, & Appeals

Crystal Williams joined Legal Momentum in 2013, bringing over twenty years of experience in non-profit fundraising management, development revenue-generating strategies, and event planning. Currently the Director of Development, Events & Appeals for Legal Momentum, she is responsible for structuring successful development strategies that increase individual and corporate support through direct mail appeals and Legal Momentum’s renowned signature events--the Aiming High Luncheon and Women of Achievement Awards Dinner.  Crystal also oversees the day-to-day operations of the development department.

Prior to joining Legal Momentum, Crystal began her fundraising career at the renowned American Lung Association and subsequently promoted to their partner organization the American Thoracic Society (ATS), to serve as the Senior Manager of the Foundation of the ATS American Thoracic Society.  Personally appointed by the Foundation’s inaugural director, she was instrumental in building its first-ever fundraising department.

Crystal is a proud New Yorker and graduated from the City University of New York, York College, with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
