  • Social justice organization that advocates for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or questioning (LGBTQ) youth  NYAC's National Resource Clearinghouse is the most comprehensive collection of information and materials on issues affecting LGBTQ youth. The National Resource Clearinghouse provides information, referrals, and materials to NYAC members, LGBTQ youth, service providers, educators, the media, and other advocates. Assistance on HIV/STD prevention and Comprehensive Sexuality Education.
  • Visit the National Teen Dating Abuse website to chat with a peer advocate 24/7.
  • Provides support and referral to local help and resources for youth in crisis.
  • JLC works to ensure that youths in the juvenile justice system are treated fairly, are provided with competent counsel and appropriate survices duration of the time that they are under juvenile court jurisdiction. JLC has a special focus on the health care needs of females.  Direct legal assistance only in high-impact federal or appellate cases.
  • The Girls’ Justice Initiative is a national coalition of organizations dedicated to ensuring equality and fairness for girls in the juvenile justice system.
  • Children of the Night is a privately funded non-profit organization dedicated to assisting children between the ages of 11 through 17 who are sexually abused and forced into prostitution. When children call the national CN hotline, a trained counselor is ready to assist. Organization provides support, educational services, shelter, and other help.
  • Break the Cycle provides education, programs, and other resources to help teens and young people recognize and end dating violence and violent relationships.
