Lynn Hecht Schafran, Legal Momentum's Senior Vice President, was quoted in NBC News coverage of the recent updates to the Supreme Court Hague Convention case Golan v. Saada following the death of the mother, Narkis Golan. 

“The whole thing, as is written, really does not understand the idea of mothers fleeing to protect children from physical and sexual and psychological abuse in the country of residence,” Lynn Hecht Schafran, senior vice president at the women’s legal defense organization Legal Momentum, said of the treaty’s child abduction clauses.
