March 20, 2012 - Blogger Greg Kaufman of The Nation has published a new article discussing the work of Legal Momentum's Tim Casey and Lisalyn Jacobs. In the article, This Week in Poverty: Me, Mom and Reagan, Kaufman discusses Tim's Single Motherhood in the United States - A Snapshot (2012) report - using hard data to dispel myths of single mothers and poverty. Kaufman then goes into Lisalyn's work on improving unemployment insurance access for survivors of domestic violence, stalking, or sexual assault. While the Senate version going to vote does not contain an unemployment provision, we are hopeful that any future House bill, when introduced, will contain an unemployment insurance provision.

Tim and Lisalyn also joined Kaufman for an online discussion, archived in the comments section of the article. According to Mr. Kaufmann, the article is the third most read on the website.
