Legal Momentum, the nation's oldest legal defense and education nonprofit dedicated to advancing women’s rights, will honor four outstanding businesswomen for their extraordinary achievements at its Seventh Annual Women of Achievement awards dinner on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at the Intercontinental Hotel in San Francisco.

The honorees are Michelle Banks, Executive Vice President and General Counsel at the Gap, Inc.; Shelly Doran, Senior Vice President of Webcor Builders; Carol C. Lam, Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Qualcomm Incorporated; and Diane Winokur, Board Advisor of the ALS Treatment & Research Center at University of California at San Francisco and trustee of the Packard Center at Johns Hopkins Medical School.

“We are delighted to be honoring four such outstanding women for their remarkable contributions in business, law, and public service. They are exceptionally talented, tremendous role models for all women facing down gender-related barriers to success in our society,” said Elizabeth L. Grayer, President of Legal Momentum.

Mary Huss, Publisher of the San Francisco Business Times, will serve as emcee for the Women of Achievement Awards dinner. Attendees will include more than 200 women all of whom have made significant contributions to their communities and workplaces.
