  • The White House Task Force to Protect Students from Sexual Assault releases its model memorandum of understanding for colleges and law enforcement.Good news: Last week the White House Task Force to Protect Students from Sexual Assault issued its long-awaited model memorandum of understanding (“MOU”) on how universities and colleges should work together to handle campus sexual assault.

  • This webinar addresses the prevalence of intimate partner sexual abuse in domestic violence cases, its significance in risk assessment, strategies to encourage victim disclosure, and recommendations for addressing IPSA in cases where domestic violence is the primary allegation.
  • A two-day model curriculum that focuses on dealing fairly with sexual assault cases, especially nonstranger rapes. It invites judges to consider how this research on adult victim sexual assault relates to their responsibilities as leaders in the criminal justice system and the community.
  • This model curriculum for prosecutors, developed with the American Prosecutors Research Institute, provides prosecutors with tools for successful sex crimes prosecutions, especially nonstranger rapes.
  • Legal Momentum’s “This Workplace Is a DV-Free Zone” Challenge aims to make all workplaces safe and accommodating for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking.
  • Legal Momentum is deeply involved in requiring schools to improve their efforts to prevent sexual assault, domestic violence, and stalking and to respond to survivors. We work to ensure that schools keep students safe from sexual assault by implementing effective, victim-centered policies that comply with Title IX and the Clery Act.
