Legal Momentum welcomes the opportunity to comment on the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission's (EEOC) decision to request renewal from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) of Component 1 but not Component 2 of the employer information Report (EEO-1) for 2019, 2020, and 2021. Based on our comments, we strongly urge the EEOC to revise its request to include renewal of the vital Component 2 data collection.
The Component 2 EEO-1 data collection establishes an invaluable tool to advance pay parity and gender equality in the workplace.
